Day 3 of this adventure finds us making the trek from San Francisco to Los Angeles. We wanted to be sure to get a good night sleep in San Francisco since when we get to Los Angeles it will be the game at Dodger Stadium and immediately after the game heading on the road again to the next stop in Denver. It looks to be T-Shirt night at Dodger Stadium, so if we get there soon enough we will have a T-Shirt to go with the Giants Caps we got yesterday. So with that in mind we left San Francisco at 10AM after a quick hotel breakfast and got back into the Dodge Caravan and headed back over the Bay Bridge on I-80 to Oakland where we hit the I-580 Interchange and headed east until we ran back onto I-5 just outside Tracy. From there it was basically a straight shot in a southerly direction for Los Angeles. Pat was doing the driving on this leg of the trip. When we got into the LA area we looked for the Stadium Way Exit, took it and drove into Dodger Stadium. We wanted to get there early enough to avoid the major part of rush hour and were successful. I’ll post details of our game experience at Dodger Stadium and look at the upcoming marathon trip to Denver coming up in the next post. We've been hearing about the real bad fires around Ft. Collins in the Denver area and hope that doesn't affect us on the drive to Denver.
