Preview – T-minus 1 day

Have you ever considered taking a trip that would crisscross the entire USA to visit all 30 major league baseball parks? How about doing this adventure in 30 days, basically hitting a stadium and a game per day? Did you consider doing this by car, with your son, brother & nephew? Did you then set up an appointment to meet with a psychiatrist to determine whether you’ve lost your
marbles or not? If you did, then you could be me. Would the thought of being in a car for nearly 16,000 miles over a month make you beg for your next chiropractor adjustment? If you did, then
you could be me. Would the thought of your 17-year-old son getting behind the wheel driving in Southern Nevada in themiddle of the night make your hair curl? If it did, then you could be me.
Does the thought of spending quality time with your only son and your only brother and his son be something of a bonding experience, as we get older in our lives that might prove to be one of life’s ultimate highlights? If it does, then you could be me. This adventure begins on Saturday June 9 in Seattle, Washington and will conclude on Sunday July 8 in Oakland, California. My name is Mike and I’m the main host on this trip. Joining me are my son Shawn, my brother Pat, and my nephew Steven. You will be able to follow us as we progress thru this adventure via this blog and also via twitter. Our collective goal is to let you feel like you are taking this “fantasy” adventure with us every mile of the way. What kind of problems might we encounter during the trip. All it would take to mess this trip up is a rainout in Kansas City. Hopefully you will enjoy this and your questions and comments on either this blog or twitter are welcome and we will get to them as time permits on the trip. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the adventure.

  2. Do you have a picture of the map? I would like to see this trip mapped out.
